Easyling release notes December, 2025
Happy New Year everyone, I hope your holiday season was at least as fabulous as mine. At Easyling, we focused on smaller improvements and bug fixes as well as the well-deserved break that every member of our team deserved. Read the article for full details as well as a picture of the fluffy dog I adopted.
Export AI Translation information
When using AI translation and post-editing, the LLMs provide a score for existing translations (if they exist) as well as a couple sentences of feedback. We found that these can be very useful for double-checking the AI’s work. Up until recently, these were only available in the Workbench. We improved this system by adding these comments to XLIFF exports. This way, external tools can display them and linguists can work in their preferred environment, such as a CAT tool.
The schema for this is available as a URL in every new XLIFF file, so that standard tooling can load and utilize the added information. Using the XSD schema allows localisation engineers to create filters for their CAT tool of choice to leverage this data.
Miscellaneous
- Smaller improvements for the Sanity content connector.
- We fixed a performance issue when massive number of source entries are picked up and Automatic Pre-Translation is turned on.
- New query parameters ignored by default:
sanity-preview-perspective,adbsc,adbid,adbpl.
This is Beni, the fluffiest dog I know. I adopted him over the holiday season after his family dropped him off at the shelter.
