Easyling release notes September, 2025

With a bit of writers’ block I was staring at a blank page for a bit when it clicked: it’s the end of September. I can make a joke about Green Day. But I must have made that last year! Luckily I checked, I managed to not do it in the past 5 years. Now with all this meta info, it wouldn’t be funny anyway so let’s jump straight(ish) into it. June was mainly a month for our team to refresh. With temperatures reaching as high as 35 degrees (Celsius) in Budapest and people melting even in rainy Scotland, many members of our team took their well-deserved time off. We May have had a month when there were only a few visible changes. I May also be recycling intros from two years ago. This time we focused on bugfixes in the backend and the Workbench. In February, we focused on giving you further options for machine translation via LLMs. These models have great understanding of languages, so they can include nuances that other MT engines can not.
