What the right localization infrastructure looks like

Where are you in your multilingual journey?

Starting from scratch

You want the right foundation from the start, without managing technical complexity yourself.

Translation runs, but it creates friction

Content updates lag. Your team coordinates translation manually. Every new update is a retranslation project — and it shouldn't be.

High volume, many languages

Serious content volume and 5-10+ target languages on your roadmap. You need infrastructure built for scale.

Website localization is more complex than it looks

Start smart, remove the bottleneck and scale

Website localization is not solved by simply connecting a translation engine into your workflow. It needs infrastructure built for it. Supported by linguistic assets built correctly. And configuration that handles content updates automatically.

  • Translate only what needs to be translated, automatically

Your CMS, plugin or connected translation API doesn't know what needs translating, without the right system in place every minor content update becomes a manual coordination task. And it shouldn't be.

  • Maintain terms and brand consistency

Raw machine translation is not the same quality as AI translation built with proper linguistic context. Translation engines don't handle your brand voice or even your terms by default. With the right linguistic foundation in place, they do.

  • Build for scale, not just to get started

Unless the infrastructure handles it automatically, your team's workload scales with your content and languages. Every content update triggers a manual workflow. Someone tracks what changed, starts the translation process, reviews, publishes — in every language. At serious volume, this is not a process. It's building a department. It doesn't have to be.

  • Infrastructure that scales with your content

At serious scale, website localization presents two infrastructure challenges in one: processing and storing millions of translated words efficiently, and serving millions of pageviews reliably without performance degradation. Both require a system built for scale from the ground up. Easyling is built on a highly redundant distributed infrastructure with 99.9% availability, so your translation pipeline and your translated pages both perform at any volume, in any language, as your content and audience grow.

How it works

What expert-guided looks like in practice

You don't manage the technical complexity. We do.

Easyling's technology expert team helps you set up your website localization infrastructure with our AI-powered platform, from scoping and configuration through to automated publishing and post-launch support, with expert guidance at every phase.

  • Phase 1: Free consultation and assessment

We start by understanding your situation fully — not just your word count and target languages, but your platform, your existing translation workflow, any technical constraints, and what a successful outcome actually looks like for your team.

We assess the project scope by crawling your website and making all content visible, so you can see exactly what's involved.

We analyse unique needs, identify potential complexities early, and give you a clear picture of what the right localization foundation looks like before any commitment is made.

  • Phase 2: Configuration and setup

With a clear picture of your technical and business needs, we suggest the localization approach for your specific situation — selecting the right content translation delivery method and publishing details to be configured based on your strategy. We work closely with your IT team or developer, or whoever handles the technical touchpoints on your side. They can also connect to the platform.

This also includes working with you on content scoping to define what gets translated and what doesn't, down to directory and page level, including how to handle resources like images and pdf files.

With Easyling you can choose from a wide variety of traditional machine translation and cutting-edge LLM engines and include your own human translator or agency in the loop.

  • Phase 3: Translation quality and workflow setup

This is where the linguistic foundation is built: the layer that determines whether your AI translation output is professional-grade or generic. We configure the platform with your preferred LLM (or MT engine), extract terms from your content building the foundations of your glossary. Generate brand voice guides and develop translation rules, or use the ones you provide.

If you work with a translation agency or TMS tool, we integrate them into the workflow. Human-in-the-loop options (translator, proofreader, reviewer) are configured to fit your quality process.

Live preview and staging give you confidence in what you're approving before anything goes public.

The multilingual options are set based on your SEO strategy (URL structure, hreflang tags, lang attributes, metadata, CDN).

Differences in language characteristics, like text expansion or right-to-left scripts, can result in layout challenges that should be handled before publishing. Where your business needs specific content served for a particular region or language, such as a country-specific landing page or localized campaign, this can be configured too. Search on localized pages can also be developed. The Easyling team provides these solutions as additional Professional Services.

  • Phase 4: Launch

Your multilingual site goes live. The publishing cycle is established: immediate translation updates for fast-moving content, or scheduled batches if your workflow calls for it. Automatic change detection means that from this point forward, when you update your source content, Easyling detects the change and responds according to your workflow — sending a notification or starting the translation process automatically.

  • Phase 5: Ongoing partnership

The project doesn't end at go-live. Easyling's technical team remains responsible for the platform and supports every client after launch. For teams that need a higher level of technical accountability, post-publish support with predefined SLA is available as part of Professional Services.
